ONE OF A KIND 1957 MID-CENTURY MODERN

Our clients knew exactly what they were hoping to achieve with this remodel, and we’re thrilled to have delivered.

Matt and Lindsay's style is most importantly one that is warm and inviting. They wanted to modernize their 1957 home to make it more functional without sacrificing any of the mid-century modern design elements. With a love for color, texture, and patterns, we delivered updates that reflect their personal style and provide functionality for the whole family.

The first thing you see when you enter the home is a brand-new custom railing and planter. The entry now feels brighter, more open, and truly one of a kind. To further execute our client’s vision, we built out the fireplace to center it and to match the updated design throughout the home, creating an undeniable statement piece. We also updated the bathrooms while preserving the original 1957-colored vintage tile.

One of the largest impacts of this remodel is the 3 new skylights and the added sliding door side entrance. These additions have created a new naturally lit space. As for the layout of the home, we were able to create a new look by opening up the foyer, allowing for an enlarged kitchen and an extra storage closet. Our clients let us know that the extra space and new organization has absolutely been one of the highlights of this renovation.
